Your Skin But Better CC+ Illumination SPF 50+

Hello precious people,

I have to share with you this amazing cc cream/spf50/antiaging serum that a friend who was visiting New York brought back for me to try.

IT Cosmetics is an American brand available in the U.K on QVC. I had never tried anything from this brand before so I was very curious about this, especially since the reviews were mixed. On QVC it retails for £30.

Now on to the claims: It is supposed to be a medium coverage cc cream, an SPF 50 (physical sunscreen)and it also claims to include an antiaging serum, all developed by plastic surgeons.

The second ingredient on the ingredient list is snail secretion which can allegedly help with collagen production. Apart from this, the rest of the ingredients seem promising: hyaluronic acid, peptides, vitamin C and E, antioxidant and collagen.

The SPF comes from Titanium and Zinc, which are my preferred ingredients when it comes to sun protection.

Now the most important part: is it a good base, does it provide medium coverage, does it really illuminate, does it hold up throughout the day? Well, the answer¬†is YES!! I am in love with this product and since I am experiencing a little retinol purge at the moment, this was the perfect time to test this cc cream as my skin right now is far from being great. I have attached some before and after pictures (excuse the spots ….hopefully the retinol purge phase will soon be over). I used just one pump for the whole face and then used a beauty blender to blend.¬† I used the color¬† Medium.Bare in mind the finish is kinda dewy so maybe I would recommend this for combo to dry skins . If you are very oily you might want to try the non-illuminating formula. Let me know what you think please in the comment section and feel free to visit my Instagram¬†alexinwonderland81.

YSL Youth liberator serum foundation

Hello gorgeous people,

let’s talk about makeup today, in particular about foundations. I am a guy and I¬†regularly use foundation to even out my skin tone and to give me a healthy, dewy finish.

YSL youth liberator serum foundation is the company’s first serum foundation ‘ to be infused with the unique Glycanactif complex’. In terms of anti-aging benefits, let’s cut straight to the chase: I did not notice any! But this is not the reason why I purchased this foundation in the first place: I was attracted by its lightweight yet buildable coverage( to a medium coverage max, not full as stated on the YSL website) but above all its incredible luminosity and spreadability.

This foundation glides on the skin like a dream , , dewy and leaving your skin radiant and very luminous( hence why I would not recommend this foundation to very oily skin types or to anyone looking for a full coverage foundation).

The color range is pretty impressive and the colors are divided in D(golden undertones) and (pink undertones). The shade range goes from light to deep. For reference, I use  BD50 which is a golden beige.

In terms of longevity, this is probably not the longest wearing foundation but it does not claim to be. It does last 9 hours on me with no issues.

It retails for £43, so not the cheapest but a bottle lasts me easily 3 months.

Just a quick note: Last year, while visiting the YSL counter in Harrods, I was told the foundation was being discontinued and only a few colors were still left. Upon checking now on Ysl website all the colors seems to be in stock.

I attached a couple of close-ups

of me wearing this foundation.

WHO IS IT FOR anyone looking for a natural looking foundation, with a luminous finish.Best suited for people with combo/normal/dry/mature skin.

Let me know if you love or loathe this foundation: I adore it.
